Welcome to Anston Field Target Club

Anston FTC was founded in 1987 by a few friends that needed a safe place to shoot. We've come a long way since those early days and many things have changed, but one thing that has remained a constant throughout the history of the club is the friendly informal environment.

We enjoy all forms of outdoor airgunning on a private 12 acre woodland site in Renishaw (a small village within easy reach of Sheffield, Chesterfield, Worksop, Rotherham and the M1).

Whether you're interested in taking up field target or hunter field target shooting, looking for somewhere to set up your rifle and polish your shooting skills or a back garden plinker looking for a larger, safer (and more neighbour friendly) place to shoot. Anston could be the club for you.

Members are provided with a key and have unlimited access to the site at all times, and in addition we have regular get togethers and informal competitions every Sunday until about 3pm. During the summer months we also meet every Wednesday evening from 5pm until it gets too dark to shoot anymore.

Ladies and juniors (with supervision if under 17) are most welcome at Anston.

Anston HFT open 2nd October Sunday 2nd October, An open event with a difference. Two 20 shot courses one FT to BFTA rules and one HFT to UKAHFT rules. Shooting starts at 10am after a safety briefing.   [more]
